This manzanita has been a delightful surprise! It's native to the deserts of Baja where it gets less than 10 inches of rain a year, and it has been thriving up in NW Oregon where we get 45-60! It has fared several winters even better than some of its relatives from much further up in California.

Best grown in a baking, well-drained site in full sun.

Mature size: 5-8 ft T x W

Minimum temperature: 15° F evaluating - survived and thrived through lower temperatures 13° F
