Evergreen tree from East Asia with large, glossy leaves arranged decoratively in whorls.

Best grown in sites protected from harsh winter winds and kept evenly moist. It's tolerant of most light exposures, but protection from hot afternoon sun will lead to a better-looking plant.

Mature size: 10-20 ft T x 10-15 ft W

Minimum temperature: -10° F
